UNCOVERING THE COMPLEXITY OF THE MICROSOFT SPLA PROGRAM

Hi There,
If a user leaves an organisation, our plan is to disable the user account so it cannot be logged into. As the account is disabled, we might still require access to the mailbox (from another users account) for a short period of time. My question is, do we have to still provide a license for Exchange SAL if the users mailbox is disabled or as the AD is disabled, then no Exchange SAL is required?
